He has expertise in identifying, protecting and commercialising intellectual property rights. He lectures on commercialising intellectual property at the University of Queensland and is a chair of the Industry Advisory Board of the Australian Centre for Intellectual Property Research in Agriculture and is also a member of the Industry Advisory Board of the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and the board of the Australian Association of National Advertisers.
